The cost of the blade stencil is $100, plus .50c per blade being etched (minimum charge of $4 for etching)..., so for 20 knives it would be $200, plus .50c x 20 = $210.00cdn. The etch is the dark color as per the kitchen knives, there is no choice there. Digital pictures should be provided in black and white in a nice clear resolution (or else it will come out blurry). Turnaround time is around 3-4 weeks for the initial order, after that it is much faster as Grohmann will already have the stencil or die here. Grohmann suggests it's good to check to if the customer will be ordering different sized knives in the future. Then Grohmann can size the logo's the smallest they will have to be before we order the material, because once it is ordered there is no sizing it then (it is burnt into material, or as in the case of the leather die, it is an actual metal die made up). If they are getting a chef knife now for instance and we make the stencil 3" long to fit it, it will not fit a 2" paring in the future if the customer plans on getting that, so it would be better to size it 1" long to fit both. This example uses 20 regular Steak/Tomato knives
